Okdo Software builds desktop converters that run entirely on your own computer. This page explains exactly what we do — and do not — collect.
Last updated: August 2026
Our software converts files locally on your PC. When you use an Okdo converter, your documents are read, processed and saved on your own machine. They are never uploaded to our servers or any cloud. We have no way to see, store, or transmit the files you convert.
If you work with contracts, financial records, patient data or any confidential material, you can convert it with Okdo the same way you would open it in Microsoft Office — fully offline, fully under your control.
We only collect the minimum needed to sell and license our software:
Because processing happens on your device, these items never enter our systems in the first place.
Orders are processed by our authorized reseller 2Checkout / Avangate (a Nasdaq-listed company). When you buy, you are transacting with them, and their privacy policy applies to the payment data you submit. We receive only the order confirmation (name, email, product, license key) needed to fulfil your purchase.
This website uses a minimal set of cookies to remember your language preference and to measure anonymous, aggregate traffic (page views, not individuals). We do not run third-party advertising trackers. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time without affecting the software.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you at any time by emailing support@okdosoft.com. We will respond within 30 days and delete order records that are no longer required for license fulfilment or legal compliance.
Okdo Software is a business productivity tool not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
Questions about this policy? Email support@okdosoft.com and we will get back to you promptly.
